It's been awhile since I lasted blogged. We are starting to get back into our normal routine of things after the holidays and such. Having my Mom here was wonderful and very needed. It was good to see you Mom. Oh, and thanks for the advice on how to arrange the furniture in the guest room. It looks much better.
Anyway, I started a temp position yesterday as a Executive Assistant in the Foreclosure dept at a law firm. You wouldn't believe my view overlooking downtown Columbia with the State Capital
just below me. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day ( just in case you missed it) and the Capital was packed with people. Presenters and such. Let's not forget the people there to protest while holding up the confederate flag. The Capital still flies a
modified version of the confederate flag to represent the South. There is some serious Southern pride here. Quite a bit different from Ogden, Utah. It's good to be exploring other parts of the country and hopefully sooner than later, other parts of the world. I just wish you ALL....(southern thing) could be with me. Well, off to the gym. WHAT! you say, yes at 6:00 in the morning. I am determined to get back in shape.
Peace & Love in the South.
